In this sermon we continue our “1:8” teaching series, exploring all that Jesus purposed when he commissioned his followers to be “his witnesses”. We practically describe this commissioning with the vision statement: “to give every man, woman, and child repeated opportunities to see, hear, and respond to the Gospel of Jesus where they live, work, and play”. It seemed fitting that, on this Labor Day weekend, to turn our attention to becoming his witnesses in the workplace.
