Though we live in a world filled with turmoil and struggle, we can be confident that God is at work all around us carrying out His perfect plan and accomplishing His perfect will. As His people we can live daily with confidence that He is with us in the struggle and the He will fulfill all His promises to His people. Because our Father in Heaven is faithful to all His promises, we can live with GREAT EXPECTATION, what the Scriptures call Hope! In his letter Peter writes to followers of Jesus who are facing incredible suffering and persecution. Peter writes to them to remind them of God’s great love and to teach them how to live with Hope amid “fiery trials”. Peter would surely know how, from his own firsthand experiences.
