In this sermon we begin a new teaching series entitled TRENDING. Every day, we are bombarded with the “world’s” opinions telling us how we should feel and think about tough issues. The biggest problem with building your life’s foundation on “these opinions” is they regularly change. Worldly opinions constantly change, they trend! If we’re not careful, we run the risk of following the trendy answers to the biggest life issues and we build an unstable life on a faulty foundation. God our Father is never interested in today’s trends. He wants our hearts, our whole-hearted devotion to HIS opinion on life’s toughest issues. In HIS Word HE makes HIS unchanging opinions known. Here, we begin this journey by answering the question “What does our Heavenly Father mean when HE says to HIS children, “Be Holy, Because I am Holy”?
