Jesus taught His followers that all conversation with God, what we call prayer, should begin by identifying God as our Father who is the King. Where there is a King there is always a Kingdom. That Kingdom is the KINGDOM OF GOD. That King becomes our Father on the day we surrender to Christ. The Kingdom of God spans all of creation, on earth as well as all of heaven. Wherever there is a King and a Kingdom, there is always a Kingdom Mission. Central to that KINGDOM MISSION is the proclamation of the Kings message, what Jesus called the “Good News”, also known as the GOSPEL. It is the good news that reconciliation with God is not only possible, but also accessible to all who would believe it to be true and would personally receive it. Because God, the King, is our Father; His Kingdom Mission is our Mission too! We serve this Kingdom Mission not just as subjects, but as King’s kids, royalty, joint-heirs with Jesus in the Kingdom of God. It is truly His Kingdom and our Mission!
