From Pastor Curt: Easter is the day we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. After three days in the tomb, God raised Him from the dead. The resurrection of Jesus means the penalty for the sins of humanity has been paid by Jesus. Now anyone who comes to Jesus in repentance and faith can be forgiven and restored to a right relationship with God. This is the most important Holy Day in the Christian faith and it is quite appropriate that you would be here to worship today. We gather to celebrate our freedom from the penalty and power of sin. Yay, God!
