August 6, 2023 is Promotion Sunday!
Parents Of rising Kindergartners:
On Sunday, August 6, 2023, we will welcome your child to the elementary side of RiverKidz! After checking in as usual, the elementary-aged kids meet in the Annex and are dismissed from that room, as well.
Elementary format includes:

- Praise & Worship and Prayer! We begin our time together by praising the LORD for what He is doing in every child’s life and praying for the requests they bring. Then we worship the LORD in song.
- Scripture Groups!We teach from the Bible every week and encourage RiverKidz to bring their Bibles from home in order to begin learning to engage in Scripture at their age-appropriate level with their own Bible. We also use a variety of activities to help with Scripture memorization.
- Life Application! We help kids “connect the dots” to understand how GOD’s Word applies to their own lives. We use a variety of activities that appeal to different learning styles.
- RiverKidz Serve! We introduce kids to Kingdom service in ways that are personal to them, local, and global, and create opportunities for them to connect to ministry and service. We begin to help them recognize their own unique gifting for loving GOD and loving others. We also offer ways to connect to other ministries within our church.

9th-12th grade GIRLS meet in Room 107, off Hallway B
9th-12th grade BOYS meet in Room 107, off Hallway B
Please note that Student Bible study meets ONLY at 9:30am on Sunday mornings. Students typically attend worship with their families at the 11:00 service.
