For the month of December we will be teaching on one of the main texts associated with the season in Luke 2:10-14. The angel told the shepherds that Christmas is many things: Good news. For all people. A Savior. Christ the Lord. Jesus. Hope. Each of these elements is packed with meaning and love form God the Father so we will open the Scriptures each Sunday and see what He has to say to us about each. Our experience has led us to believe that Christmas is a time when many people who have been far from God take steps back towards connecting or re-connecting. I encourage you to enter this season asking the Lord to show you where he is working in others and then join Him in that work. It may mean buying someone a meal or Christmas for their children. It could mean praying with someone who is discouraged. It could mean inviting to our services. The possibilities are endless but the key person is you so pray, watch, and act.
