In this sermon we continue our summer teaching series COLLIDE, we examine the life of a powerful political and military leader. Though he actually asked one of the most important questions recorded in the Gospels, his propensity for “people pleasing” caused him to miss the greatest opportunity of his life. As we study his encounter with Jesus, we will take some time of introspection to examine our own lives and see how our tendencies toward people-pleasing may be robbing us of life transforming, GOD-moments!
