Many of us are familiar with a hymn, often referred to as “The Doxology”. In many Baptist churches, it would be sung immediately following the collection of the offering. The opening line is “Praise GOD from whom all blessings flow.” While many may think that is the only “doxology”, the word itself is defined as “an expression of praise to GOD”. There are actually many doxologies!

JESUS concludes the prayer model He teaches to His disciples with a different “Doxology” in Matthew 6:13, “For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.”
