Jesus continuously lived His life “ALL IN”. In Luke 9 we read “As the time drew near for His return to heaven, Jesus moved steadily onward toward Jerusalem with an iron will.” (Luke 9:51-TLB). Paul writing to the Church in Philippi states: “Though He was God… He gave up His divine privileges; He took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being.” (Philippians 2:6-7-NLT). In His birth Jesus was ALL IN. In His ministry Jesus was ALL IN. And, in His death Jesus was ALL IN! Jesus was always ALL IN with His love because Jesus loves people—all people. He loves the Manic and the Magnificent, Pagans & Priests, Historians & Haters, Pharisees and Financiers. Jesus loves Addicts & Architects, Barbarians & Bankers, Image-Consultants & Immigrants. He loves the Lovable & the Unlovable, Rejects & Radiologists, Prostitutes & Police. When Jesus walked the earth He was compassionate and merciful toward people from ALL walks of life.
