In this sermon we continue our series in 1 Peter entitled GREAT EXPECTATION. We are privileged to have Guy Smith open God’s Word to us today. Guy serves as our Director for Ministry Mobilization here at the River. What some of you may not know about Guy is that he has served as both a Lead Pastor and as a Church Planter. We are so very grateful to God for bringing he and Lynda to join our Riverbluff family two years ago and then onto our staff last August. This morning we explore the Apostle Peter’s challenge that in times of persecution and suffering, every individual in the church matters and is critically needed to serve one another out of their unique gifting from God’s Holy Spirit.
