There was a line from a song in the 70’s that went “feelings whoa whoa whoa feelings, whoa whoa whoa feelings, again in my life”.  The song was all about feeling our feelings. (They just don’t write songs like that anymore.)

Dr. Dallas Willard who has written at length on the subject of how our feelings shape our souls, points out that; “Feelings are a primary blessing and a primary problem for human life. We cannot live without them and we can hardly live with them.”  Dr. Willard goes on to say, “Feelings are good servants, but they are disastrous masters.”  Though our feelings can at times present great challenges in our lives, they are also central to our spiritual formation and soul health.

Please consider this my personal invitation to you to engage in this message as we explore God’s plan to restore our souls by renovating our feelings.
