Like many of you, I sat on my couch last Sunday night in disbelief and sorrow and momentary confusion, watching and reading about the horrific tragedy at First Baptist Church Sutherland Springs. Questions raced through my mind like they’ve done all week in the media. In the wake of so much loss and so much uncertainty where do we find what we need to carry on? In this sermon, we look at the testimony and journey of a man who faced more devastating circumstances than we do and yet found the strength to carry on. His name was Jeremiah.
